Your leaders are always keen to receive extra help from parents. If you have an interesting job or hobby which you can come in and share with the young people please talk a leader. Or if you just want to help out let us know.
We are fortunate to have only one major fundraiser every year – the Turkey Trot half marathon in and around Keyworth. We ask parents to volunteer one morning of your time to support this amazing event – that’s got to be better than any number of jumble sales, car washes and other miscellaneous fundraisers! Would you consider giving up a little time more regularly? The Scout Executive (Parents’) Committee is tasked with maintaining the hut, fundraising, and supporting the uniformed sections. We are a friendly group of people who are always looking for new ideas. If you’d like to find out more let us know via our contact page or come along to one of our meetings.
